Opposition demands for JPC into 2G spectrum leads to another adjournment

The Opposition demand for JPC into 2G spectrum scam continued to rock the Parliament for the 11th working day in a row today. While the Lok Sabha was first adjourned till noon and then upto 3.30 P.M. following uproar over the issue, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for an hour and then till 2.30 P.M. amidst a minor scuffle between the DMK and the AIADMK members. As reported the government has already ruled out adjourning the two houses sine die before schedule because of the deadlock over the issue. The Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal said yesterday that the government wants the two houses to function for the entire Winter Session. The Leader of the Lok Sabha Pranab Mukherjee said that the government is trying to resolve the deadlock. He, however, said that it has still not found a solution to the issue.
