The BJP has criticised the Government for the passage of the Medical Council of India Bill in the Lok Sabha without discussion. Party Spokesman, Gopinath Munde said the Bill should not have been taken up when the House was not in order. He alleged that the recommendations of the Standing Committee incorporating certain changes in the Bill have not been included.RJD and Samajwadi Party Members also criticised the government for passing the Medical Council of India Bill in the Lok Sabha without discussion. Party leaders Lalu Prasad and Mulayam Singh Yadav said that the government has ignored the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on MPs' salary hike.
