Union Minister for Information Broadcasting and Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu has criticised the intentions of the opposition parties for agitating against the Centre's action against widespread corruption in the country. <br/><br/>Addressing media in Atkur near Vijayawada today, he deplored the opposition parties' attitude in rumour mongering that the Centre has some ulterior motives in demonetisation. <br/><br/>He wondered, instead of supporting the government's action for the good of the society, the opposition parties are ruing against the Centre's decision on demonetisation. <br/><br/>He said, if the government gets more taxable income, people will have to pay less taxes overall, and there will be more developmental activities as desired and envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Gram Vikas. <br/><br/>He said, Prime Minister's decision on demonetization is very revolutionary. The Minister urged the States to promote cashless transactions for transparent India.
