In Jammu & Kashmir, the joint operation of Army, Special Forces and Special Operations Group of State Police continues since yesterday to flush out holed up militants in north Kashmir's Rajwar area of Handwara, around 100 Kms north of Srinagar headquarters in Kupwara district.<br/><br/>An Army spokesman this evening told AIR that one unidentified militant was killed in the ongoing operation.He said the body was retrieved from the encounter site. Police sources said one AK-47 rifle and other ammunition was also recovered from the slain militant. More reinforcement of forces has been rushed to track down unspecified number of militants holed up in the area.
