In Jammu & Kashmir, the operation is in progress to flush out more militants in Handwara forest area in Kupwara district, which is around 100 Kms in north of Srinagar headquarters.<br/><br/>Till now, 2 militants have been killed in the ongoing encounter in Laribal Rajwar area of Handwara in Kupwara district. 2 army personnel also lost their lives in the encounter.<br/><br/> Reinforcements have been rushed to the spot to supplement the strength of the security forces to track down the remaining militants. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, two unidentified militants in broad day light snatched one service rifle from a police cop within District Court Complex in Kulgam district, which is around 70 Kms in south of Srinagar headquarters. A search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
