A massive operation is on to retrieve the body of Indian mountaineer Ravi Kumar from Mt Everest. A team of 15 high-altitude expert climbers have been deputed to carry out one of the most difficult and challenging mission. <br/><br/>A senior official of Indian Embassy in Nepal told our Kathmandu correspondent that as per the instructions of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj all necessary support is being provided. Ravi Kumar a resident of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh was missing since Saturday after successfully conquering Mt. Everest. His body was spotted yesterday in a 200-metre-deep gorge near the summit. Six mountaineers, five from Nepal side and one from Tibet side have died in this season in attempt to conquer highest peak of the world. <br/><br/>Meanwhile more than 100 climbers successfully stood atop of Mt Everest yesterday , taking advantage of the fair weather. On Sunday also around 100 climbers had reached the summit. At least 220 mountaineers from Nepal side have scaled Mt. Everest during the current season.
