In Pathankot, no firing has been reported today from inside the Indian Airforce base as the operation entered the fourth day. Security personnel of Indian Air Force, NSG and Army are searching the airbase to complete the combing operation. Helicopters are supporting the ground combing. Defence sources maintained that all defence installations are safe. However, during combing every part of airbase is being checked.<br/><br/>Security forces declared yesterday that fifth terrorists was killed and the building in which they were hiding was also bombarded. Security forces are not sure about the number of terrorists who sneaked in the airbase. Security forces came into action immediately after noticing the terrorists and confined them to area away from where valuable defence equipment were located.

Operations to flush out remaining terrorists at Indian Air Force base in Pathankot continue. 5th terrorist was killed by the security forces yesterday. This has been declared at a press briefing by the senior officer of National Security Guard (NSG). <br/><br/>He said, operation will continue. Earlier yesterday, officers briefed that two terrorists are still holed up in building. During the day the building was bombed by the security forces targeting the terrorists. The blast was followed by the sound of gunfire. He said all equipment and fighter aircraft and major combat equipment are safe.
