In a major relief to the non covid patients, OPD services in Uttar Pradesh will start functioning from today in government hospitals. State Government has already issued an order and necessary guidelines for opening of out-patient as well as in patient services in health centres.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports that the decision to resume OPD services was taken in view of decreasing covid cases in the state and it will help lakhs of patients suffering from different diseases. Now surgeries, which were scheduled pre second covid wave, will be done along with new surgeries after an RT PCR or TruNat negative report. An order in this regard says that Post-Covid care should also be started at all the district hospitals with proper arrangements of physician, physiotherapist and mental health experts.<br />'' <br />''If there are corona patients in any hospital, they will be shifted to a nodal hospital in the district and the entire hospital will be sanitized, before resuming the OPD services.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Order says that all health facilities across the state must have a fever clinic and Patients with fever, influenza like illness must be kept away from the other patients. Covid-19 screening should also be provided there. Steps must be taken to ensure that services extended to pregnant women including ante-natal care, child birth and even C-section procedure should be resumed.</span><br />
