<span style="color: #222222;">The Union Health Ministry has said that only mild and asymptomatic people need to be in home isolation as most of the Covid-19 omicron cases are mild. In an exclusive interview to AIR News, Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry, Lav Agarwal said, a person having moderate and severe symptoms only needs hospitalisation.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking about the salient features of the revised guidelines for home isolation of mild and asymptomatic Covid-19 cases, Mr. Agarwal said, patients should remain isolated in a separate room having proper ventilation. He said, patients must use a triple layer mask and it must be discarded after eight hours of use.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Agarwal urged the patients to use tele-medicine facilities like e-Sanjeevini and be in touch with the treating Doctors.
