<span style="color: #222222;">Online registration is now open for girls for admissions to class six in five Sainik schools for the next academic session. The schools are in  Bijapur in Karnataka, Chandrapur in Maharashtra, Ghorakhal in Uttrakhand, Kalikiri in Andhra Pradesh and Kodagu in Karnataka.<br />'' <br />'' The online application form is available on </span><a href="http://www.sainikschooladmission.in/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #1155cc;">www.sainikschooladmission.in</span></a><span style="color: #222222;">. The last date of registration is December 6. The examination will be held on January 5 next year. It may be recalled that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, in October, had approved the proposal for admission of girl children in Sainik schools.<br />'' <br />'' The schools were developed as an alternative to public schools education, aimed at nurturing boys from a cross-section of society to join the Armed Forces officers' academies.</span><br />
