<br/>Ministry of Overseas Indian affairs is introducing a novel ‘E migrate’ project where one can apply for immigration permission on line through an ‘e governance’ programme. This was disclosed by the secretary, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIF), Mr. A Didar singh while talking exclusively to AIR in Dubai on the sidelines of Overseas Indian Facilitation centre (OIFC) investment and interactive meet organised by Indian business and Professional Council (IBPC) last evening. He informed his ministry has taken a whole new initiative in collaboration with United Arab Emirates Government where MOIF is going to introduce on line attestation and confirmation. This will be between the governments and Indian Embassies where verifiable data will be available and it will go a long way in ensuring that fraud and other activities do not take place.<br/><br/>Earlier in an interactive session organised by Overseas Indian Facilitation centre, various participants from public and private sector giving a brighter outlook on healthy return prospect on investment in India, made presentations on investment opportunities especially in infrastructure projects in India.
