<span style="color: #222222;">Union Earth Science Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that the 75-days long ongoing Coastal Clean Up Campaign Swachh Sagar, Surakshit Sagar is receiving a huge response from all sections of society. Several Governors, Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, celebrities from various fields and civil society groups are joining the campaign and pledging their support to the longest and largest beach cleaning campaign.<br />''<br />''Addressing a press briefing in New Delhi today, Dr. Singh said, the government is gearing for a mass cleanliness campaign on International Coastal Cleanliness Day on 17th of September. He said, with the help of civil society, the government is working towards imbibing the spirit of oceanic cleanliness among the people. Dr. Singh said, on 17th of September, the coastal cleanup drive will be carried out at 75 beaches across the country with 75 volunteers for every kilometer of the coastline. The Minister has sought support from the people in achieving the target to remove one thousand 500 tonnes of garbage, mainly single-use plastic from the sea coasts on International Coastal Clean-up Day.</span><br />
