ONGC have won the 22nd Lal Bahadur Shastri Men's Hockey tournament. In an exciting final in New Delhi today, they defeating star-studded Air India 4-2 on penalty shootout. The scoreline was 2-2 at the end of regulation and extra time. This is the second consecutive title win for the Nehru Cup winners ONGC. The winning team got richer by two lakh rupees while the runners-up got one lakh. Kamaldeep Singh, the goalkeeper of ONGC, was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
