Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has discovered several hydrocarbon fields in different offshore and onshore areas of East Coast of Krishna-Godavari Basin. Giving this information in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dr M Veerappa Moily said a team of ONGC officers has been constituted to carry out technical feasibility for the development of some of these fields so as to reduce the cost of development and early monetization. He said the studies are at preliminary stage.
