ONGC has confirmed that four bodies have been recovered in the Mumbai offshore chopper crash.<br/><br/>Five ships, two Dornier aircraft and two helicopters have been deployed for search and rescue operations. The Spokesperson of the Indian Navy said in a tweet that the Fast Attack Craft INS Tarasa has joined search and rescue operations.<br/><br/>The chopper with five ONGC personnel and two pilots on board crashed off the city coast while heading to an oil rig at Mumbai High today. The chopper Dauphin N3 had gone missing after taking off from Juhu aerodrome at 10.30 AM and was scheduled to land at the designated oil rig at Mumbai High at 11 am.<br/><br/>Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in a tweet said Indian Navy and India Coast Guard are extending all possible assistance in the search and rescue operations. Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha expressed deep anguish over the loss of lives.
