When the joint team zeroed in on a suspected spot where terrorists were hiding, they came under heavy fire, leading to a gun battle that resulted into the killing of an unidentified terrorist in the initial exchange of fire.<br />''<br />''The operation was going on when the reports last came in.<br />''<br />''Today's encounter comes three days after a deadly encounter at Kreeri area of Baramulla where two top Lashkar-e-Taiba commanders among three terrorists were killed and six security  personnel including three army soldiers had succumbed to their grievous injuries and attained martyrdom. </span><br />
