In the United States, one police officer was shot and killed and another gravely injured by gunfire while checking suspicious people in the central Florida city of Kissimmee.<br/><br/>Kissimmee Police Chief Jeff O'Dell said at a news conference that, the officers were checking three suspects when a fourth suspect opened fire. Three of the suspects were arrested, and officers were searching for a fourth.<br/><br/>In an another incident in the northern Florida city of Jacksonville, two police officers were shot and wounded while responding to reports of a shooter in an apartment.
