A local court in Orissa sentenced one person today to rigorous imprisonment for three years for torching a house during the 2008 communal violence in Kandhamal.Additional sessions judge of fast track court C R Dash convicted the man for torching the house of a woman at Dakringir village in G Udayagiri and imposed a fine of 2000 rupees.The judge, however, acquitted 10 others accused of various charges of riots due to lack of evidence.
