One jawan was seriously injured and one naxalite was killed in an encounter between the police and naxalite in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh this afternoon. The encounter took place near Kangera under Dhaudai police station area. One more jawan was also seriously injured when he was trying to defuse a tiffin bomb. The naxalite planted the bomb near Korajhar under the Narayanpur district. The injured jawans have been admitted to the local hospital.
