One naxal commander killed in encounter with in Gumla District

One naxal sub zonal commander has been killed in encounter with the police in the Rakamshera village under Gumla district of Jharkhand. On the other hand, one police personnel Mr. Himmat Singh of Cobra battalion, who was injured yesterday in the 28 hour long encounter with the naxals in the forests of Chaibasa district of Jharkhand, has succumbed to the injury in a private hospital in Ranchi . Earlier 10 naxals were killed in that operation, in which 2000 personnel of CRPF, Special Task Force and Chaibasa district police had taken part against more than 2000 armed naxals, which ended in police smashing 8 naxal training camps. The naxals however managed to flee along with the dead bodies of their men. On the other hand, naxals have given two day bandh call in Jharkhand, Bihar and Chattisgarh starting from today, which has affected normal life in Jharkhand. Many trains have been cancelled or diverted and work has been affected in coal loading centers at Ramgarh<br/>
