One km area near Hathijan village in Ahmedabad declared bird flu hit

In Gujarat, one kilometer area near Hathijan village in Ahmedabad district has been declared bird flu hit. This was announced by State Government after the positive medical report of some dead birds found near the Asha Foundation – a voluntary Organisation working for birds and animals. <br/><br/>The district administration has banned transportation of eggs, dead birds, discharge of birds, farm machinery, equipment or any other infected thing to and from this area. Humans coming into contact with H5N1 bird flu infected birds can catch infection. Bird Flue is found mainly in birds. It spreads through Avian Influenza (H5N1) virus and spread speedily. Birds show breathing related and reddish eyes symptoms.
