One killed, two injured as suspected militants opened fire on hotel in J&K

In Jammu & Kashmir, one person was killed on Friday afternoon when suspected militants opened fire on a hotel on the outskirts of Srinagar city at Lasjan bypass. AIR Srinagar Correspondent reports that police has cordoned off the area.

Confirming the terror attack, the DIG of the area said that the militants tried to enter the hotel premises, firing indiscriminately. He said, a hotel employee was killed in the attack, while two others were injured. He added, the militants fled soon after the police reached the spot and a hunt was on to nab the terrorists.
