In West Bengal, One person was killed and seven others injured today when a speeding train hit a lorry at the Ghosaras Ghona station, about 56 km from Kolkata. A railway release said, the vehicle was hit by the Sealdah-bound Hasnabad local at a level crossing.The lorry driver succumbed to his injuries, while seven others, including the train drivers were among those who were injured. The train services were stalled in Barasat-Basirhat section after the accident.
