One person was killed and 7 others injured 3 of them seriously in a powerful blast near Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir. AIR correspondent reports, the blast occurred at about 8:30 in the morning about 5 Kms away from the main Udhampur Town on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. The explosive was planted in a vehicle and as per preliminary reports the blast was triggered with the help of a remote control. IGP Jammu Dilbagh Singh said, the police is verifying about the explosive material and how the blast took place.
