In Jammu and Kashmir, a General Engineering Force (GREF) personnel was martyred while four others injured in Pakistani firing in Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control in Poonch district today. <br/><br/>Official sources said that three GREF personnel, a BSF Jawan and a civilian were injured in the Pakistani shelling. Later one of the injured GREF personnel succumbed to injuries. <br/> <br/>Defence spokesperson told AIR Jammu that the forces across the Line of Control started unprovoked firing and shelling targeting Indian positions and civilian areas of Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch and Naushera sector of Rajouri district around 7:30 this morning. Indian troops guarding the borderline retaliated the fire and gave a befitting reply. <br/><br/>Intermittent exchange of fire continued uptill 11 am.Small arms automatics and mortars are said to be used in firing.
