In Jammu and Kashmir, one person was killed and twenty others were injured in an IED blast in the valley on Srinagar Jammu national highway in Bijbehara Anantnag on Thursday afternoon. Police sources told AIR that the blast occurred when a Maruti car carrying an IED collided with a truck from opposite direction in the busy Bijbehra Market near police station. The condition of the some of the injured is said to be serious. The driver of the car died on spot. Details are awaited.
