UNICEF says, one in five children in rich countries lives in relative poverty. <br/>According to a UNICEF report published on Thursday, United States and New Zealand are among the world's worst performers for youth well-being. <br/><br/>The report also said, twenty per cent of children in Britain and the United States do not have access to sufficient safe and nutritious food. <br/><br/>Director of the UNICEF's research office, Sarah Cook which published the report said, higher incomes do not automatically lead to improved outcomes for all children, and may indeed deepen inequalities. <br/><br/>She said Governments in all countries need to take action to ensure the gaps are reduced and progress is made.
