Jammu and Kashmir, one top militant of Hizbul mujahideen" outfit got killed in an encounter at "Batpora" Village of Awantipora tehsil in Pulwama District. According to Police sources encounter is still going on. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent quoting Distt. SP of awantipur Bashir Ahmad Khan said that the gun battle between militants and security forces started in the afternoon when police and security forces cordoned off the Batpora village near awantipora town in south Kashmir after having specific information of presence of militants. According to SP Awantipora the slain militants has not been identified yet." Police and security forces have sealed the whole area.
