Jordanian authorities have arrested one person in Amman, suspected of involvement in yesterday’s bomb attack on an Israeli embassy convoy in the country.<br/><br/>According to Israeli daily Haaretz, the arrest was made after a roadside explosive device went off near a convoy of cars carrying three Israeli diplomats travelling from Jordan toward Israel.<br/><br/>No one was hurt in the blast which occurred when diplomats were crossing a bridge between Jordan and the West Bank. Israeli Foreign Ministry said that the Israeli ambassador was not in the convoy. Israel and Jordan, signed a peace treaty in 1994, maintain close security cooperation and cordial diplomatic ties.
