In West Bengal one hardcore maoist killed in an encounter with security force at Belphari in Bankura district on Sunday. According to police sources the joint force launched attack on maoists following a tip of their presence in Madhupur forest area. Police recovered arms and ammunition from the spot. Meanwhile, the state government today gave compensation of one lakh rupees each to the 9th families at Goaltore west Midnapur who killed in Maoist attacks in the district.
