One dreaded LeT terrorist outfit eliminated in Keshwan

In Jammu and Kashmir, Police and Security Forces achieved a major success by eliminating one dreaded terrorist of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit in Keshwan area of Kishtwar yesterday evening. The identity of the deceased ultra has not been ascertained so far. Another militant is believed to have got injured in the encounter and efforts are on to nab him. In another incident, three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Bandipora district of north Kashmir this morning. A defence spokesman said in Srinagar, the gunbattle broke out in the forest area of Bandipora when the ultras opened fire on a search party of the security forces. He said three terrorists are yet to be identified. The gunbattle was still going on when reports last came in.In an earlier incident, heavily armed terrorists attacked residence of Mohammed Abdullah Dar, District President of Democratic Party (Nationalist) in Sopore town in Baramulla district. They killed three police jawans including the PSO of the leader while Mr. Dar escaped unhurt.
