One person has succumbed to his injuries due the police lathi charge outside the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)on Thursday afternoon in protest against the 15 per cent water cuts in the city.<br/><br/>The deceased has been identified as Viral Dholakaia and he was the worker of the Swabhimani Sanghtana which had taken the Morcha at the BMC. Maharashtra's Revenue Minister Narayan Rane's son Nitesh Rane had led the Morcha against additional 15 per cent water cut in the city.<br/><br/>Five to six workers of the Swabhimani Sanghtana are also injured in the police lathicharge. Meanwhile workers of the Swabhimani Sanghtana have gathered outside the G.T. Hospital.
