The National Cricket selectors today appointed Virender Sehwag as captain of the 15-member squad for the first three One-Day Internationals against West Indies. The selectors who met in Mumbai today gave Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and senior most player Sachin Tendulkar a much needed rest.Another senior player, Yuvraj Singh, was also not in the squad. A media release issued by the BCCI stated that Yuvraj has informed the board that he is not fully fit. Out-of-form off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was once again ignored by the selection committee.The first match of the ODI series will be played in Cuttack on November 29. Visakhapatnam (Dec 2), Ahmedabad (Dec 5), Indore (Dec 8) and Chennai (Dec 11) will host the other matches. The Fifteen members of the Squad are: Virender Sehwag (Captain), Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Parthiv Patel, R. Ashwin, Praveen Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron, Rohit Sharma, Manoj Tiwary, Rahul Sharma.
