In Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh a person was arrested with over 24 quintals of coins meant for melting and making shaving blades. City police said the alleged culprit Ramesh Sharma, a native of Bareli, was arrested alongwith the parcel van in which he was transporting the coins to Delhi. After getting a tip-off the police team nabbed the culprit and seized the coins kept in 67 bags. On interrogation, he said the supply was meant for delivery in Chandni Chowk area of Delhi.
