A senior Iraqi official has said that the on-going political deadlock is damaging the security situation in the country. The Minister for Oil and Electriticy, Mr Hussein al-Shahristani, in an interview to BBC, said the power sharing agreement was being exploited by the insurgents. It is now six months since elections were held in Iraq which returned a hung Parliament.
