On Bapu’s B’day: Kerala say no to plastic

In Kerala tens of thousands of school students took a pledge against plastic waste at Kozhikode. This was as the part of the projects to make Kozhikode as the first plastic waste free district in the country. The Scheme, which got off on the Gandhi Jayanti Day, will be completed in four months in five phases. Students from various schools in Kozhikode district took part in the mega campaign against plastic waste. The scheme is being implemented by Kozhikode Administration in co-operation with departments of Education, Information and Public Relations.
