Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that three oil marketing companies OMCs, IOCL, BPCL and HPCL have faced a combined loss of 21 thousand 201 crore rupees after tax in the first half of the current financial year. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In a written reply in Rajya Sabha on 27</span><sup>th</sup><span style="color: #222222;"> March 2023, Monday, the Minister said to compensate for the losses suffered by OMCs on domestic LPG sales, in the year 2021-22 and 2022-23, the Government has paid a one-time compensation of 22 thousand Crore to the public sector OMCs during 2022-23.</span><br />
