J & K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has impressed upon the administration to ensure implementation of the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA) in letter and spirit. While reviewing progress of its implementation at a high level meeting in Srinagar, he said that he would himself monitor functioning of departments identified under the Act, for providing time bound services to people. The CM said there is urgent need for making people aware of their rights to receive public service within a prescribed time frame.
