Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that he would discuss the issue of providing security to panchayat members with security agencies to ensure their safety and smooth functioning. Omar termed the killing of yet another panch during last night in north Kashmir district of Baramulla as heinous and against public cause.Our correspondent reports that killing of three panchs in a row during the last one month has triggered a wave of resignations from elected panchs and sarpanchs .
