Chief Minister Mr. Omer Abdullah has ordered revocation of ban on the SMS service in Jammu and Kashmir on Post Paid Connections only. In a high level meeting chaired by the state Chief Minister yesterday a decision was taken to revoke the ban on the SMS service in Jammu and Kashmir on all post paid connections after reviewing the overall security situation in the state. However, the ban on the post paid bulk message will continue. The ban was imposed by the state government in the month of June this year following unrest in the valley.
