Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has asked separatists to take a cue from the courage of former Hurriyat Chairman Maulana Abbas Ansari and come forward for talks. He said there was no alternative to dialogue in finding a lasting solution to Kashmir issue. He was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Training Academy at Udhampur on Thursday. He said that everybody is saying that gun is no solution to the problem and reminded separatists that if they are not ready for talks, then how can they find the solution to the issue. On the suspension of Ansari from Hurriyat, the Chief Minister said that he has nothing to say on this issue as it is the internal matter of Hurriyat. Centre's interlocutors on Kashmir had on Wednesday met former Hurriyat Chairman Maulana Abbas Ansari. This irked the moderate Hurriyat faction which suspended him from the amalgam.
