India's Geeta Phogat will today lock horns with Tonya Lynn Verbeek of Canada in the pre-quarterfinals of the Women's 55 kilogram Freestyle Wrestling competition of the London Olympics. The match will begin at 5:30 PM (Indian Standard Time). The 23-year old is the first woman wrestler of Indian origin, who is participating in the Olympic Games. Geeta had advanced to the last-16 stage after she got a bye in the opening round.In Athletics, Tintu Luka will be seen in action in the semi-finals of the Women's 800 metres race at 12 AM tonight. She yesterday made it to the semi-finals by finishing third in the heats, clocking 2 minutes, 1.75 seconds. Out of the twenty four runners competing in the semi-finals today, eight will make it to the finals.In the Women's High Jump, Sahana Kumari will begin her campaign today. The event is scheduled to begin at 2 PM
