The Olympics flame has reached the host city London—a week before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games . It was carried along the castle's ramparts by double Olympic middle-distance gold medallist Kelly Holmes.The Royal Marine Commando abseiled with the flame from a helicopter landing inside the historic Tower of London on the River Thames. The flame will have the same security as the crown jewels used for royal coronations.
