Punjab Police has said Olympic bronze medallist Vijender Singh will be questioned in connection with the recent recovery of 26 kg of heroin worth 130 crore rupees. The Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Hardyal Singh Mann said, the focus of investigation, at present, is to catch others involved in the case after which, Vijender will be summoned for questioning. A DSP with Haryana police, 27-year-old Vijender, has denied any involvement in the illegal drugs trade or to taking drugs. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said, law will take its own course as far as Vijender is concerned.
Punjab Police is focusing its investigations against Arjuna awardee wrestler, Jagdish Bhola. He was dismissed from the state police for his unlawful activities way back in nineties.
