A Panama-registered merchant ship with 22 Indian crew members on board has gone missing from Benin Coast of West Africa on Thursday. <br/><br/>The owners of the tanker ship MT Marine Express have sought the help of the Directorate General of Shipping in Mumbai to get in touch with their counterparts in Nigeria and Benin to carry out search operations for the merchant ship.<br/><br/>In a tweet, the company said, the families of the crew have been contacted and authorities have been alerted who are responding to the situation at hand. It said, the last contact with the ship was established at 3:30 UTC(Coordinated Universal Time) last Thursday.
