A repeat episode of hijacking of ships by Somali pirates took place yesterday morning when an oil tanker vessel MV Fairchem Bogey was hijacked off the coast of Oman. In a statement issued in Mumbai, Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) said that the vessel MV Fairchem Bogey with 21 Indian crew members on board was hijacked while it was at the Salalah anchorage. DGS informed that the vessel was managed by Anglo-Eastern Ship Management Mumbai.
