The supply of petroleum products to Jammu and Kashmir was hit today as two Tanker associations went on an indefinite strike. Jammu and Kashmir Petrol and Oil Tankers Association (JKPOTA) and All Jammu and Kashmir Oil Tanker Drivers and Cleaner Union (AJKOTDCU) said they have gone on strike to protest the alleged failure of the state government to protect Oil tankers from increasing attacks in the Valley. JKPOTA President, Anan Sharma said that they have decided not to supply kerosene, petrol and diesel till the government provides security to them in the valley.
