Oil rebounds in Asia trade after upbeat US data

Oil rebounded from recent falls in Asian trade today after upbeat US data boosted confidence in the world's largest economy, analysts said. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in June gained 14 cents to 94.35 dollar a barrel and Brent North Sea crude for June delivery added six cents to 102.66 dollar in mid-morning trade.
