Oil prices up in Asian trade

Oil prices were up in Asian trade on Thursday. New York's main contract, light sweet crude gained over 28 cents to 104.55 dollars per barrel. Brent North Sea crude gained 20 cents to 115.33 dollars per barrel. Analysts said crude markets were being supported by a rally in the US equities market late last night.
