Oil prices edged higher in Asian trade on Monday on escalating Russia-Ukraine tensions that had Moscow and the West locking horns at emergency UN talks. US benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for May delivery gained 51 cents to over 104 dollar per barrel in mid-morning Asian trade while Brent North Sea crude for May rose 52 cents to nearly 108 dollar.
